SafeLand USA 2021 Training

THE PEC BASIC – SAFELAND ORIENTATION

PEC Learn Basic Orientation explains the hazards that workers may encounter in the oil and gas industry along with the various practices employed to mitigate those hazards. This SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf accredited one-day safety orientation also meets API RP 75 and API RP T-1 requirements. Students will also gain a clear understanding of their rights under OSHA and how those rights apply to their workplace.

The course provides a basic understanding at an awareness level of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties.

 
 

First Aid/CPR/AED Training

AMERICAN RED CROSS CERTIFIED TRAINING

The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat, and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older and meets OSHA/workplace requirements.  Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

SafeLandUSA

SafeLandUSA is the most widely-accepted safety orientation adopted by the US Onshore Exploration and Production Industry. Hundreds of companies across the US depend on and require SafeLandUSA to ensure their constantly-changing contractor workforce is prepared for the high-hazard functions present in Industry. Since its inception in 2010, SafeLandUSA has been delivered to over 1.4 million workers. Veriforce is a proud accredited training provider – we include SafeLandUSA in all of our safety orientations including SafeLandUSA 2021 Basic Orientation, Basic Pipeline, and Core Compliance.

SafeLand is a non-profit organization comprised of major and independent operating companies, contractors, industry associations, and educators to promote SafeLandUSA, a standardized safety orientation for workers in the US Onshore Exploration and Production Industry. 

What is SafeLandUSA Certification?

SafeLandUSA training is an 8-hour instructor-led course that meets the requirements of API RP 75 & API RP T-1 and also provides general coverage of other safety topics an employee should understand before entering the work area. This orientation has become the standard program for the industry and certifies a student at awareness level for the following:

Completion Information

Upon successful completion, students receive their Veriforce PEC Learn ID card. This card signifies that the student’s understanding of the content has been verified with comprehension testing through an authorized Veriforce SafeLand instructor. Employers may verify student training using the Veriforce PEC learn ID card, digital card or online at www.PECCard.com.

Each student can secure proof of successful completion from https://www.pectraining.com/Card/terms.aspx 24-48 hours following the course.
